Program Details:
Advocacy + Case Management
Our case managers and advocates help survivors understand their rights, navigate systems, safety plan, and get connected with services for support and healing.
intake
Anyone new to our center is scheduled for an intake appointment with one of our friendly case managers. The case manager will get to know you and your situation, explain our services, create an initial safety plan when applicable, and connect you with services.
case management
Our case managers assist survivors with navigating systems, safety planning, and connecting with Family Justice Center and community resources to help survivors increase stability and heal.
advocacy
We understand that it can be overwhelming to navigate legal and criminal justice systems by yourself when you are a victim of assault or abuse. Our staff will talk survivors through their options, discuss community resources, and accompany survivors when filing reports to law enforcement or making court appearances. We help survivors understand their rights in the workplace, school, etc.
education, employment + financial literacy
We offer educational, employment and budgeting assistance to help survivors move from short-term safety to long-term security and an economically sustainable independent life.
