Advocacy + Case Management
Our case managers and advocates help survivors understand their options, navigate systems, safety plan, understand their rights and get connected to services for support and healing.
Anyone new to our center is scheduled for an intake appointment with one of our friendly case managers. The case manager will get to know you and your situation, explain our services, create an initial safety plan when applicable and connect you with services.
Our case managers assist survivors with getting connected to services at our center, navigating systems, safety planning and connecting with community resources to help survivors increase stability and heal.
We know it can be overwhelming to navigate legal and criminal justice systems by yourself or to coordinate with your work, school etc. when you are a victim of assault or abuse. Our staff will talk survivors through their options, refer to community resources and accompany survivors to report to law enforcement or at court. We help survivors understand their rights in a workplace, school, and etc.
education, employment + financial literacy
We offer educational, employment and budgeting assistance to help survivors move from short-term safety to long-term security, and to an economically sustainable independent life.
