Community Coalitions

The Family Justice Center leads a variety of multi-disciplinary coalitions as part of our mission to work towards a community where survivors are believed and supported and offenders are held accountable.

Our goal: A community free from violence.

sexual assault + domestic violence action coalition

The Action Coalition is a monthly meeting of organizations, providers and survivors working to address sexual and domestic violence in our community through cross-training, inter-disciplinary work, networking, resource sharing and more. Contact abissell@nofjc.org for more info or to participate.

ACCOUNTABILITY working group

The AWG seeks to examine, expand, and improve various interventions for those who abuse in relationships or commit sexual offenses in the New Orleans region.

Greater new orleans campus planning group

The Campus Planning Group is a quarterly working group to educate, network and share resources with the goal of better addressing sexual, dating and domestic violence on local college campus’. This group is led in conjunction with LaFASA. Contact josef@lafasa.org for more info or to participate.
