Michael’s biggest influence in the strength training world is his mother, who used the sport of bodybuilding and powerlifting to escape an abusive marriage. After joining her in the gym at the age of 16, he fell in love and began pouring over any information he could find to become better at gaining muscle, strength and flexibility. He is now a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer and studying for his Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. His ultimate goal is to provide a safe space for women and members of the LGBTQ community to gain strength, power and flexibility.
